Printed Maxi + Espadrille Wedges

Happy Saturday! Let me start with saying I've never been the biggest fan of Maxi dresses because I'm on the shorter side and always thought that they made me look even shorter, until I actually wore one. To my surprise, they actually seem to make me appear just a wee bit taller. (Yay!) I scored this maxi on sale at Nordstrom for less than $25! The elastic waist is perfect, it allowed me to tuck some of the material under it (and it actually stayed put) to adjust the length without having to get the dress altered. I have linked several cute printed maxi options in the "Printed Maxi" widget below.

When I choose pieces of clothing that are bright and colorful I like to pair it with nude shoes so my outfit isn't too "busy". In this case I paired my printed maxi with nude espadrille wedges. To tie in with the nude I chose a nude crossbody. I have linked quite a few crossbodys (all available in nude/beige) for under $150 in the "Crossbody" widget below. I literally want every single one, and I might or might not have ordered two of them!

As far as accessories I chose my favorite go to necklaces, a 4-sided pendant necklace and keepsake 4-sided pendant necklace both from The Silver Loft. My bauble bangles all from Candles & Confetti play off of the pink and blue accent colors in my maxi dress, as well as a heart charm toggle bracelet from The Silver Loft. I opted for a more casual watch with a white leather strap.

I hope you all enjoyed reading this post! I'd love to hear how you style your maxi dresses! May the rest of your weekend be amazing! I can't wait to hear from you!
