Happy Hump-Day! I hope you all enjoyed your Labor Day Weekend! (What's better than an extra day off work?!) For this week's Wishlist Wednesday I decided to do an all plaid theme, because plaids are a must in my fall wardrobe--or every season really. ;) The best part of today's wishlist is the fact that every single piece is under $50, and half of them are even under $25! (I know, right?!)
So, let's talk about my favorite pick for this week. This red/white plaid blouse isn't just your typical plaid button-up. It's has an open back (similar to a tulip-back shirt, just not rounded). And it's on sale! Come fall, I tend to buy boyfriend shirts because of the longer fit. (Since I'm on the shorter side I love pairing them with leggings.) If you aren't on the shorter, you can just throw on a cardigan that covers your bum! Both the blue buffalo and black gingham are great (and affordable) boyfriend fit options. But, don't worry, if you're wanting a classic fitting plaid shirt I've got you covered there too with these in classic red/blue, navy/cream gingham, and gray.
For those of you who are scarf lovers like me, (who doesn't love scarves, especially plaid ones?!) this black/white buffalo plaid scarf and blue/ivory plaid scarf are both less than $25! Then I had to include this one just because it's super fun!
I'm sure you've all seen the J.Crew quilted + puffer vests. I'm a huge fan of the buffalo plaid ones, but unless you catch them on sale, $138 is kind of a lot to spend for one vest. Well, problem solved--this red one is almost identical and costs less than $40! (Yep, that's over 70% less than the J.Crew version!)
